Make sure that you are requesting the correct item by verifying its author, edition, ISBN, etc.

Getting book from Main campus library to FVTC Outreach Sites

Library Outreach Sites
We can send books through inter-office mail to FVTC campuses outside the Appleton main campus. We need to make sure the outreach site expects it, and know who will pick item up. You then return item to the outreach site campus. If you need something mailed to you (for online students) contact library@fvtc.edu

Interlibrary loan - example

When we get a request for an item:
1) We test to see if we can get it through our subscriptions
2) We check for free full-text online
3) If still not available, we order a copy from a cooperating library.

Here is an example of using our interlibrary loan system to get resources not currently in our collection that was done for a faculty member:
