People with active MyFVTC accounts (students, faculty & staff) can now have FREE access to LinkedIn Learning courses and videos through the Fox Valley Technical College Library!

Why bother?  Sometimes you don't need a full semester course to get up to speed.
LinkedIn Learning contains more than 5000 courses and videos taught by industry experts and is designed for all levels of learners. 

• Main categories: Business, Communications, Technology, and Marketing.
• Technical skills such as web and software development, financial literacy, social media, and security.
• Interpersonal skills such as body language, working with difficult people, managing stress, time management.
• Videos or mini-courses that you can embed into Blackboard for your students. 

What happens when you ask for subscription access: You’ll receive an activation email from LinkedIn Learning.

Once you’re in, browse around! Take a course, learn something new or recommend videos to your students or co-workers.

Users also have the option of having completed sessions appear on their LinkedIn account to augment their resume--or not.

If this is not the way it works for you….

1. Many times  problems come from having pop-up blockers turned on or cookies turned off. 
2. Sometimes clearing the browser cache history will get things back to working.
3. Sometimes rebooting your computer will clear thing up also.
