The Internet Archive Opens National Emergency Library

Last week, the  Internet Archive opened The National Emergency Library, a collection of 1.4 million digital books that will be freely available until June 30, or the end of the national emergency in the United States (“whichever is later”). It’s particularly aimed at teachers and students now working remotely, but anyone can take advantage of the available books. Internet Archive founder Brewster Kahle has been clear to note that this resource is a supplement to buying books - not a replacement for it.
