· Program students - All program students will have their FVTC email address set as preferred. They will NOT be able to change their preferred email address to a personal email address in MyFVTC anymore. We hope this change will improve communication with students at FVTC. Please note this will only impact students currently admitted in a program at FVTC.
· General public (Personal Professional Development (PPD)) – PPD students will no longer be assigned a campus email address. They will retain the ability to select their preferred email address and will use a personal address for their classes.
In an effort to improve communication between FVTC and our students, effective January, 7, 2019, all PROGRAM STUDENTS will have the FVTC email address set as your preferred email account. This means, if you forward your email to a personal account, like Gmail or Yahoo, this forwarding will be turned off. This will ensure you receive important communication from instructors and staff.
With this change, you will be responsible for checking your FVTC email on a regular basis. To make the transition easier, please go to our FVTC Student Email sign-in page. Once there, click on the Student Email Info & FAQ button for simple instructions on how to sync your FVTC email to your phone or mobile device. While this is not required, we feel it is a great option to stay connected.
